Job Type: Part-time (around 10 hours per week), University of Kentucky student ambassador role

Job Responsibilities:
As a Launch Blue Ventures Ambassador, you will play a key role in supporting a new
venture capital initiative in Kentucky. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare Quarterly Executive Summaries

  • Create comprehensive executive summaries for various startup
    companies to be presented to accredited investors.

• Identify Trends and Patterns:

  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, determining key factors in
    investor engagement.

• Conduct Research and Due Diligence:

  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investment
    opportunities, evaluating their fit within our network.

• Create Slide Decks:

  • Utilize Canva to prepare visually appealing slide decks regarding new
    initiatives, particularly focusing on Invest Blue.

• CRM Management:

  • Build and organize contacts and company information within our
    Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, using HubSpot.

• Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, acting as a
    liaison between accredited investors and startup companies seeking
    funding.

Qualifications and Requirements:
● Current University of Kentucky student status
● Strong analytical and research skills
● Proficient in creating presentations using tools like Canva
● Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:
● Previous experience or coursework related to venture capital or startups
● Understanding of investment processes and due diligence
● Networking and relationship-building skills

Compensation:
● Competitive compensation based on hours worked
